Louisville Colors: A Colorful Guide to a Vibrant City

by Anna Memphis Levine

About the Book

Louisville Colors, a coloring book, is the first published series of illustrations by Anna Memphis Levine. The illustrations depict Louisville landmarks, often from unusual visual perspectives. The title is a play on words, invoking the rich hues Levine’s hometown, and the artistic nature of its residents, whom she envisions imparting colorful expression to the book’s black and white format.

About the Author

Anna Memphis Levine, an undergraduate at Macalester College in St. Paul, MN, began experimenting with design-based visual art while in high school. The illustrations for Louisville Colors were completed over a two-year period, during which, a close friend and family member received cancer diagnoses. Inspired by their battles with the disease, Levine and Holland Brown will donate a percentage of the proceeds from sales of Louisville Colors to the Louisville chapter of Gilda’s Club, a national organization providing support to people living with cancer.
